When you use a telephone, email, WhatsApp, website or booking link displayed on a property listing, we may record the action taken, the listing involved and the date and time of the action. This helps us monitor listing performance and improve the Website.
Property owner and listing submissions
When a property owner or business representative requests a listing, we collect:

- Property address and location information
- Telephone number, email address, website, WhatsApp and booking links

5. How Accommodation Enquiries Work
GoHimarë is a directory and does not process bookings or payments through the Website.
When you submit an enquiry for a property, your enquiry is sent by email to:

- The GoHimarë website administrator; and
- You, as confirmation that your enquiry has been sent.
Accommodation enquiries are also stored securely in the Website’s private enquiry system.
The property owner is independently responsible for any personal data they process after receiving your enquiry. All discussions about availability, prices, bookings, cancellations, payments and accommodation arrangements take place directly between you and the property owner.
6. Who Receives Your Data
We share personal data only where necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Recipients may include:
- The relevant property owner or authorised representative, when you submit an enquiry;
- Our website hosting, email and technical support providers;
- Google, where you consent to Google Analytics or use Google Maps or Google Translate;
- OpenStreetMap and map tile service providers when you view the Website map;
- Public authorities, advisers or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Property details, contact details, images and other listing information provided by a property owner may be published publicly on the Website.
7. International Data Transfers
Google services, including Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Translate, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose.
- Accommodation enquiries are retained for 24 months from the date of submission.
- Property owner and listing information is retained for the duration of the listing relationship and for 5 years afterwards for accounting, contractual and legal purposes.
- Security and technical logs are retained for 12 months.
- Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, subject to your cookie preferences and Google Analytics settings.
We may retain data for a longer period where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
